2004 – The beginning
Fritz’s was dreamed up over a few beers between Bryan Stenning, a radio marketing executive and Todd Heller one of New Zealand’s best butchers. The idea was conceived and in late 2004 Fritz’s did their first ever event. The product was a hit!
2009 – Franchising
After proof of concept was achieved it was time to spread the wieners far and wide. Our first franchisee started in Auckland in late 2009.
2014 – Crossing the ditch
In 2014 we were invited to arguably one of Australia’s most prestigious motor racing events the Bathurst 1000. Sourcing a local producer of our awarding winning sausages and establishing the brand in Australia.
2018 – Franchisees all around the country
With new franchisees in Hamilton and Queenstown you can now find us the length of the country popping up at your favourite events.
2019 – Restaurant opening
New restaurant opening in the new River Side market in the Christchurch CBD.
2020- Kombi Van launched in Dundein
Today you can find Fritz at the s the largest events in New Zealand as well weekly markets and private functions.
We are also open in fixed locations in Northland, Wellington and Christchurch.
